Base costs and fees:

With photography, the level of fees and expenses will depend on the purpose of the job, the level of specification and output required by the client and the urgency of the job.

Where the output is commercial publication for profit (eg. retail books, greetings cards etc.) a fee / license to reproduce will normally take into account the size of the print run and intended publication region/regions.

In all cases the fee is normally determined on a daily rate or part-day basis with additions for expenses including:

• Materials
• Equipment hire
• Studio or facility fees
• Travel
• Accommodation
