Project Management: SOS!

A popular local cause:
The discovery of Newport's Mediaeval Ship heralds tremendous heritage and tourism possibilities for Wales' third city. But the find it was also the subject of great controversy as Newport City Council grappled with the implications for the council's budget and its custodial responsibilities.

A group of local residents and businesses campaigned for the preservation of the ship and its eventual display for the benefit of the community and the Welsh nation as a whole. This group quickly developed into a highly successful lobby and formed the influential Friends of the Newport Ship

Directing a media campaign:
Communimedia was asked to design a range of promotional material to advance their campaign. Items that included T-shirts, Posters, Badges and Greetings Cards and their award winning website. We alo design their quarterly newsletter SOS combining our expertise in photography and graphic design to give this community organisation an authoritive and highly professional edge.
