Using artwork to raise awareness of social issues:
Paintback! is an exhibition of artworks made by asylum seekers in special
classes organised by the Newport and District Refugee Support Group.
Taking
and idea and maximising its potential:
Communimedia helped organise the project, advising on sources of finance
and general project management issues, we assisted in the production and
distribution of the exhibition. We undertook the photographic reproduction
of the artworks and were responsible for the design of the 'Paintback!'
logo and printing of t-shirts. Origination and production of the exhibition
and printed material was co-ordinated by our staff working in association
with the organisation and an external design group.
